The Boston skyline doesn’t rate as one of the top 10 skylines of the world, which according to Luigi Di Serio at diserio.com are:
- Hong Kong, China
- Chicago, USA
- New York, USA
- Shanghai, China
- Tokyo, Japan
- Singapore
- Toronto, Canada
- Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
- Shenzhen, China
- Seoul, South Korea
Still, the Boston skyline has its charms. (A more scientific ranking of skylines can be found here. Di Serio ranked Boston #27, Ramsbergen and Kazmierczak ranked Boston #43.)
The above photo was taken from the water taxi stop at Logan Airport. I was surprised to learn that many Bostonians don’t know that you can catch a water taxi at the airport for $10 one way, or $17 round trip. Perhaps not the most convenient way to get downtown if you need to go somewhere else (the nearest T stop is Aquarium, near Long Wharf), but it’s a quick ride (about 7 minutes ) and fun!
