Well, every day is kind of a Blog Day at this site, since my raison d’être is to connect & share info about & with bloggers, and non-bloggers (can’t forget them), all around the world. So, if a few months pass and you wish it was Blog Day, just click yourself back on over to imagined-community.

Why did you start blogging?

Because I was driving the people around me nuts! (I needed a place to share my interest in all things and especially things related to globalization — and to park my intensity.)

What do you blog about mainly?

Culture (such a nice vague word), with a dash of politics and do-goodery.

Do you blog in your first language or in another language, and why?

Yes, I blog in my first language — English — because I can write readable sentences in my first language. However, it is not my only language, and I hope to both write and recruit readers to write and contribute blog entries in other languages in the future.

What motivates you to keep blogging even if (like most bloggers) you’re not paid much for it?

Can you say Addiction?

Is your audience mainly inside your own country or around the world?

All over, but mostly from the US (thanks friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers : ).

What do your family and friends think about the fact that you are a blogger?

They think I should spend less time online and more time trying to find a husband.

  Not a brand new blog, but a wonderful blog. There are so few English blogs by anyone in Vietnam, let alone by a Vietnamese God ; ) Visit.
• Whirled View.
  GREAT global coverage. Sharp analysis with topics ranging from the environment to public diplomacy from Patricia Kushlis, Cheryl Rofer, and Patricia Lee Sharpe.
