Music Monday - Rory Block
Since I am going to see U.S. based Rory Block perform at Club Passim this Friday, I thought I would promote her on my site (now that I’ve got my tickets ; ). Block has been plugging away as an acoustic blues musician for over thirty years — since she took to the road at 15 to learn her craft. Learn she did, from the giants of acoustic blues, including Mississippi John Hurt, Rev. Gary Davis, Bukka White, and Son House. This lady is real deal.
