A Load of Rubbish.

Sunday was Earth Day, which according to the Earth Day Network is the largest secular holiday on the planet. I spent Saturday morning with thousands of other volunteers scouring the banks of the Charles River for trash. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and it felt like all of Boston was out filling plastic bags with rubbish and enjoying the nice weather after such a long spell of dreary, wet yuckiness. I took the above photo of the Holla Back slogan (against street harassment ) near the BU bridge.
